19th October 2002 Windsurfing: Oxwich bay, Gower Wind Direction: n.e. Wind Stength: 18mph Surf / Sea State: 2-3ft waves Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: never tried oxwich in ne before , but gave it a go was nnearly dead onshore wind with just enogh angle to get out through the waves , wind stayed ok untill about 2 pm when it the just died out , managed to knock a hole in my 5.3m manic but its had some severe abuse previously so not to concerned , finished the day off on a borrowed 5,7m. good day though and definatly worth another go , maybe tommoro?? |
